Ninety-Nine Tulips ~ Acrylic on canvas ~ 24"x30"
Well, I've come to love Winter here in Haliburton, but let's face it; by this time, nearing the end of January, and with 4 feet of snow outside, as an artist, I'm in desperate need of some colour! Flowers are always a bonus, too, especially a LOT of them! Thought it would be nice to share this painting since it has both!
"Ninety-Nine Tulips" was completed by me approximately 10 years ago. It sold this past Summer to a wonderful collector who totally "gets" my art! I suppose it was just waiting for the right person to come along, or perhaps I just wasn't ready to part with it!
Enjoy : )

New!! Papier-mache Raven...Or Crow? : )
I'm pleased with my latest effort at another P.M. bird. This time it's a lifesized Raven...(Or some may think it's a Crow... that's okay with me!)
I'll try to update this with a better picture.
He (or she) is made of newspaper, plastic grocery bags and a lot of masking tape, then papier mache over top. The branch is a real twig. Thanks for viewing.
