Okay, this could be considered a portrait of Donald Fagen on the piano
and Walter Becker on the guitar.

I'm truly not one to paint people, or rather any specific people.
I've always considered fan art to be kind of weird. Never thought I'd be one to stoop
to this, but, well, there you go.
Plus, I don't want to insult anyone I happen to admire!
.
However, I was listening to
Steely Dan in the studio while painting this,
(which I quite often do),
and, they are my very favourite group, or rather, dynamic duo,
so why not paint what inspires?

I'm thrilled to say, they are coming to Toronto this coming July!
Since this will be my 6th time seeing them live, I'm hoping for really good seats!
Front row centre would be just fine! ; )

But seriously, I can offer the names of many gifted individuals who've inspired these musical paintings I'm now creating.
